CWA's Annual Youth Conference: Youth@Work 2021 will be a Virtual Conference
The year 2020 has been, in a word...tumultuous. The world-wide pandemic COVID-19 has not only changed the global economy in ways incomprehensible just a year ago, but it has also challenged us to rethink how our services are effectively designed and delivered. Social injustice and inequality are at the forefront of our minds, and we are committed to continuing the conversation. The Black Lives Matter movement is bringing to light many systemic, racial prejudices, and inequality issues which plague our reality. Now, more than ever, our challenge is to help young adults create viable economic futures, meaningful careers, and achieve life success trajectories from this emerging workforce.
The Youth@Work 2021 Conference will address formidable issues facing youth and young adults in preparing for work in today's economy. Our theme, Empowering Changemakers!, refers to the potential of all youth and young adults to be the change they want to see in the world, and to empower them to actualize their future goals. Our role is to ensure our youth can fully participate in the modern economy and be able to carve out a career in which they can enjoy and thrive.
Therefore, we have developed 2 Workshop Tracks:
Youth Service Providers: $299.00 per ticket (includes full conference and youth track keynotes)
Youth/Young Adult Track: $99.00 per ticket (intended for youth participants)
Each track has been meticulously designed to empower, uplift, and inspire you to take action. By working together, we can ensure the next generation's of workforce has the necessary foundation for a thriving future.
