About this talk

"Zig when others zag.

Minorities have to work twice as hard to get half as much. Many young minorities, at-risk youths, foster youths, Transitioning Age Youths are frustrated with the difficulties of securing a viable economic future due to systematic racism and racially biased hiring practices. Squarage’s virtual session will instruct innovative best practices for Job Searching and Virtual Interviews so youths can empower change by securing job placements through adaptive and unique techniques. Then, their influence will be seen in the workforce.

• For Job Searching, adapting to the recruiters’ tracking eye patterns and ATI (applicant tracking system) for résumé screening with innovative and unorthodox tactics. Also, Squarage will demonstrate small relevant and engaging projects are the new résumés for job-seekers to achieve job placement and employability. • For Virtual Interviews, 80% of communication is non-verbal and 20% conveying the right spoken energy: body language, effective buzzwords, trigger words, and adapting to one’s environment. Empowering systematic change begins with one youth minority getting a desirable job.
